Tulugak Inns
North Hotel is owned and operated by the Tulugak
Co-op Society. It features nine rooms with double
occupancy, each with private bath and cable TV. The
cafeteria-style restaurant has a set menu, although
requests for traditional foods and special diets are
welcomed. The rate is $199 per person per night, plus
meals. The hotel provides welcome respite to hikers
adventuring through Auyuittuq
National Park.

Qikiqtarjuaq is located in Davis Strait off the east coast of Baffin Island. It is known as the iceberg capital of the North. This rocky area is rich in marine mammal wildlife. Hunting and fishing are still important parts of daily life in this area. Right whale, ring and harp seals, Beluga whales, narwhal, walrus and Killer whales all inhabit the waters off Qikiqtarjuaq.
Local outfitters can arrange and accompany adventurers on hiking expeditions and scenic excursions to icebergs, tundra, fiords, and bird nesting sites.
